Why was this system developed?

This system was developed because there was no emergency contact program in place to notify loved ones in the event of an emergency.

This program was initiated by Christine Olson in loving memory of her daughter Tiffiany because she was involved in a fatal accident and it was over 6 hours before any notification took place.

Where is the information stored?

All of your contact information is stored in your state's government database, which is used by the Law Enforcement agencies in your state.

To Inform Families First does not store any of your personal contact data.

Where do I enter my information?

You can enter your information by clicking on any of the multiple links throughout this web site, or else visit your state's Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles through actions like renewing your driver license, changing the address on your license, or renewing your vehicle license tag.
